What height jack do I need to change the tires on my 2008 Tac TRD sport 4x4.

    Lift is stock.

Was looking at a hydraulic piston jack similar to the one that comes with the truck but lifts by pumping instead of turning. Extends to 50cm(20in).

    Is that enough?

19" jack works. But bigger is better. I use a Torin Big Red 8 ton bottle jack. Works like a charm. 30 bucks, bought it at Crappy Tire.

I'm from CowTown too, so I know they carry them.

picked up the jack and it just lifts it high enough. Can't beat it for $30 though, thanks again.

You know the top of it screws up another 5 inches or so to give you even more height hey?

Actually I did notice that. Good thing too, or it never would have been high enough

I wonder if we got the same jack, cause I have 265x75R16 and I have no clearance issues changing the tires.
