yeah but you mentioned you were going to get 884s then later get 886s.

Don't get 884s (for reg and access cabs) get the 885s cause you have a double cab. Then later get the 886s if you add the bumper and winch.

Or just get the 886s the first time and have a slightly stiffer ride but not have to mess with it later imo.

 

^^^^this!!! trust me...just get the 886s first time around...then you dont have to worry about taking the 885s off then putting the 886s on when you get the bumper fabd up. it just makes everything easier, it'll be a little rougher until you get the bumper on but well worth not having to mess with the coilovers a 2nd time

 

Wish I did it first. Pain to do second time around. Plus you loose $$$ and personal time

hehe yup, I went from the factory coilovers and a shitty spacer lift to sexy adjustable coilovers and the works hehe

I cant wait for the next meet, that was awesome over in Jax then Ocala...expensive...but fun. I think once im done with the military im gonna move over towards that area so im closer to everyone. there's like nothing to do over here in the panhandle lol

 

Well no Im buying these used from a member on here so they come with the 884s, not my choice. They were 430 shipped and Im trying to talk the guy into just 400 flat but theyve only got 8k miles on them so not too bad.

Also mine is still quite dirty and loaded as well haha. MUST wash it tomorrow!

No just front for now. Im not doing OME shocks in the rear so it works out. Why is that a bad deal? Havent bought them yet.

totally agree with that! I test drove a Wrangler before I bought my truck. not what I would want to live with every day

 

I think the irony of it all is that I told her she should get a 4runner because it would be dependable and good for winter. Her comeback, "jeeps are completely reliable! Quit being a toyota fan boy" two weeks later after purchase, clutch goes out and radiator starts leeking. Haha I felt bad but was SURE to rub in what happened to her heep
