    Not 100% sure on how far you can go around. I know you can get out to the point atleast IIRC.

    The sand is...sandy?? ahah

    Nah its driveable, softer stuff towards the dunes, firmer stuff towards the water.

    most of the ppl fishing off the bridges there and on the beach arent going for tarpon..

    I take my boat and anchor up around the bridges and try for tarpon there.. as do a lot of other guys.

    Fishing for a tarpon off that bridge is pretty much impossible. they will wrap you around the pilings in a heartbeat..

    Im just hoping for a chance to jump one from the beach for shits and giggles.

    Dependin on how i feel when I wake up around 7 will decipher when I get there. Its probably a 20 min drive for me.

    Early morning bite is teh bests for a shot at a tarpon.

    Whiting can be caught with shrimp, maybe a pompano.

    Trout, redfish, flounder, jacks, whatever, can be caught with shrimp or mullet.
