for sure, I will let you know. I am still just tossing back and forth between the 2 lifts before I pull the trigger.
I just purchased some UCAs yesterday. I had emailed Toyota USA on Monday basically tooting their horn and telling them about the tundra and 2 tacomas I have bought over the last 5 years and how much I loved them and if they offered any discounts or rebates on accessories for repeat customers, I basically just wanted to try and get a free or discounted roof rack. To my surprise they responded giving my $500 rebate on any service, accessory or part from a Toyota dealer. So I bought the UCAs and a roof rack yesterday....I was so stoked!!!!

My .02, go with the 285s dude. They fit way better in the wheel wells than the 275s would with 3" of lift. The way I look at it is if you are going to get bigger tires, get bigger tires lol 285s wont break the bank much more than 275s would. It is your truck so it is your decision. I won't go smaller than 285 and I may even consider 295 on the next set...who knows lol

Anyone in the area have any luck figuring out a front end suspension shake.
I have racked my brain and replaced a ton of things that has been suggested by a bunch of "mechanics", just looking to see if there is anyone in the area willing to do a 10 minute ride along to help me figure this out.
List of replaced items to this point is as follows:
    Front and rear brakes- rotors,pads,shoes,drums.
    Leaf springs
    Shocks
    Drive shaft u joints
    Carrier bearing for drive shaft

So before I start dumpin anymore dollars in I am looking for someone who has any experience with "phantom"problems!

I think it's something in my front suspension but can't figure out what it is.
Checked the wheel bearings, cv joints and ball joints. I see the rubber bushings have a little deterioration, which is slated to be repaired as well as a new clutch(only because my throw out bearing is chirping a tad). But I would like to pin down the problem. Like I said if there is anyone who feels they are pretty good at this stuff PM me. I live at the beach and work on the south side.

Figured I would list it here before putting it on CL.

97 Tacoma V6 4x4 ext cab, 205k one owner. This truck is in great shape and it kills me to get rid of it. Has a random stalling issue that I can't figure out, but otherwise runs great. It was my daily driver since it rolled off the hauler in late 96.

    $6000

Not sure. I need to get up with James (S1ck S0n) and see what works for him. The best time for me would be the weekend of March 22/23 or the next weekend. I will be working pretty much every Sat in April.

I am going to start searching tools that will be needed to do this job. I think I might need to get some tall jackstands or blocks for the ones James has.

Hell no. It's been raining everyday and the resin takes 3 days to dry with all the humidity and lack of sun. It's getting there though. One more layer in this one particular spot and the back is done. Now that the sun's out I should be able to finish it up this week.

Any recommendations on a good 285/70/17 aggressive looking all terrain tire? I have ready countless threads on tires but I wanted fellow Floridians responses since we have more heat down here than all the northern Duratrac fans and I would like my next set of tires to last at least 45K miles. Trying to keep price at or below around $200-$225/tire. (Pics would be nice too)

    Thanks guys.

Can anyone recommend a place near Beach Blvd and Hodges in Jacksonville that can do an alignment after my lift and UCAs are installed? I have called a couple places and they recommend I call an offroad shop (wtf do they offer alignments for then?)
