So whats everyone doing this weekend. I think i am finally gonna pull the trigger and go get more mesh and finish the grill and than go buy lights to mount behind the grill. I have been putting this off and off so i think i should finish it now. Anyone else doing any mods or anything?

I just painted my hood scoop insert black and it looks good! This weekend I might tackle painting the brake calipers red. Rmb what are you going to use to mount the mesh? I followed Bryan with the JB Weld and it's holding awesome! Oh, and my Wet Okoles are on their way but won't be here until Wednesday...can't wait!

Haha no prob. We will see how it goes. i just gotta find an easier way to cut the mesh. Tin snips arent working too well so i might try a cutting wheel. And i gotta figure out which lights to use.

If it's the mesh I gave you, an angle grinder works awesome. I have one if you need to use it...

Nice. Yeah i pretty much gave up on the leather. It would cost too much and plus i have dogs and dont want them to scratch it all up. So i will probably order them soon. I kinda want to check them out in person before i buy them so i might come buy and look at them. I will probaby do the JB weld stuff for the mesh.

Yeah i gotta get more mesh bc the pattern wasnt going the right direction. i want it going left/right not up/down. So i will be going to pick up a little more. I had enough to cut out the triangles though.

Would a dremel work with cutting the mesh? If so you're welcome to it.

What's up guys. New here and thought I would stop by and say hi. I'm down in Middleburg and I'm game for wheeling, drinking some beer, wrenching whatever. My work schedule is hectic at the moment with it being the first quarter of a new fiscal year so Sundays are all I'm good for for now.(Thank you Navy for all the overtime) That's enough rambling for now, I have to get up and go to work in 6 hours.

    Shawn.

Welcome to tacomaworld. Thanks for your service. I'm on the same side of the river you are on.

true true. But they are handy for those little jobs. I actually used it to do the majority of the cutting on my exhaust. I used like three blades.
