its all good. i am gonna take it and pressure wash it and get underneath it and pressure wash it all out and open the engine up and pressure wash all that also.

 

I've given up on keeping the engine bay clean. I just hose it off. Too much knuckle busting with the sponge.

 

Looks like you guys found plenty of mud... I'll check back tomorrow to see if you posted more pics.

Well changed out my diff fluid. It came out as chocolate milk... so diff breather mod is a must now.

Thanks for the welcome and tip, I live on the Westside and am not happy at all with Ernie Palmer. I took my truck there at 3500 miles for my free oil change. I had a new case of the good Japanese filters on the floor of my cab that I asked them to use. They must have set the box on the greasy shop floor, and the ass hat who changed my oil then threw the box on my back seat!! I go to get in my truck, and see the box on the back seat, move it to the floor, and of course there is a big oil spot on the seat. I almost lost my shit right there. So, in other words, I am very hesitant to ever let them near my truck ever again!!

 

I would be so pissed and talk to the manager over there.

I had a little incident at Jiffy Lube and now I'll be changing my own oil. I ordered the oil filter the other day. It was stupid of me for letting them do it in the first place. I guess it really is true if you want something done right you need to do it yourself.

 

I use coggin for all my service and they are awesome. I havnt had mine done yet but i will probably do it soon. Just call and ask for jomar, hes the service rep that i deal with all the time. Rick is the service manager and he is very helpful.

 

Thanks for the info guys, just a bummer I have to drive across town when the dealer literally a few blocks away is not to be trusted. I did learn a trick, however, from the apologetic service guy- brakleen took the oil spot right out within seconds. I was impressed because I have the light gray sport interior and it's like it was never there.
Ryan- Have you had the rear leaf or trans TSB done on your 09'?

well if i didnt work so late i would have gotten some pics of the muffler and have done the rest of the mud flaps. so ill do that this weekend. I was comparing tire sizes with the 265/75r16 to the 275/70r16 and the 265 is bigger by a bit.

 

Yeah it's taller but slightly narrower. Probably not even noticeable.
