Hey guys, i got back early from orlando, so i should be able to come now if thats ok with you Jason? I want to do my BHLM also and paint wheels....is it still ok if we use the oven jason? Also, i probably neeed to go out and buy paint for these mods, what kind and how much should i buy for both jobs? and do i need to bring jack stands?

My parents don't mind if we use the oven. According to the bhlm walkthrough you need krylon fusion I don't know about the wheels though. I have about half a can and I'm going to Home Depot in a bit I can pick some up when I'm there if you'd like.

I have two jackstands and a bottle jack and whatever came with the truck.

Do you guys think the rain will affect the painting? We can bring the vehicles in the garage for the non paint mods but I don't know about painting in the garage I guess if we keep the doors open and put lots of newspaper down we should be good.

 

How many cans do the wheels and headlights require?

 

Ive heard one can for lights, and one can of primer and one can (maybe 2) of flat black paint for wheels...are you sure your ok with buying the paint? I can go out today also and buy some...

 

I need to go to HomeDepot anyways so I don't mind.

I'll see if I can find flat black but all I remember them having is gloss.

 

I just picked up some jack stands so i have two. For the headlights i used one can for both and the wheels i just used rustoleum and no primmer and it turned out great. I think i used 4 cans or so... i have a couple of extra so i will bring what ever i have sitting around. For the wheels make sure you grab some clear coat also. I think i used 2 cans of that.
