Jacksonville, FL Area Scheduled Meets-Ongoing

Saw my first white gen 3 today. Didn't look too bad. I think the fact the grill was all blacked out helped.

 

My wife used to work on Wells, and we only had one car at the time. I hated driving there.

I can't stand driving anywhere around Blanding.

 

Nothing has changed. There are rare times when I've hit every green light from Middleburg to 295, and only took 10 minutes to do it... Those are the times I like Blanding. The rest pretty much sucks. I've gone 220, then up 17, or Brannon Field Rd to Collins.

 

Did you go behind Publix?

 

No. I wanted to, but had the wife and kids with me. I got stuck at Ross, then detoured to REI.

 

So, instead of doing an off road meet, why don't we do a lunch or something? I notice that the guys in Tampa and orlando do it often.

I leave for work at 4 am and lemme tell you blanding is dead. But is full of cops so i cruise control that shit at 45

 

I wished i had moved onto argyle.

 

My buddy moved over there, off of Argyle Forest & Cheswick. Nice area, but too damn for me to just drop by. I'm off of Kernan, between JTB & Beach.

 

For my work its close and not ghetto so it works for me. Lol i kinda like the chafee whitehouse area too

 

@ManBeast For work...yeah. Even Whitehouse & Chafee. I work off of Normandy & Fouraker. But for the wife? Nope. She works off of JTB & Philips. I would rather do the drive than have her do it. Once the construction is done downtown and also 95 & JTB, the drive home won't be so bad. If I leave at the wrong time, it takes me a good hour or so to get home. In the mornings, I leave the house at 6:00 - 6:15. Takes me less than 30 minutes going between 60 - 70 MPH.

 

I drive 32 miles and in the am i stay at the speedlimit because 3 more points and im suspended, and i cant blend into a herd at 4 am. And it takes me about 35 minutes. Orange park to macclenny. At 130 to 430 when i get off it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to get to blanding and about 10 to 15 minutes to get up blanding 3 miles. Lol.

 

Actually yea probably 30 minutes to get to blanding

Argyle looks like it's going to explode. We live on the westside and my parents live in middleburg, so we take Brannenfield to make that trip(instead of shitshow blanding), and they're doing all kind of construction prep out there... Expanding on Oakleaf I guess.

 

Yeah, we live out in Middleburg and there are a lot of new homes going up. Once that toll road is completed and connected to 95s near St Augustine the area is going to get really crazy.
