I have heard that the 887s weren't any stiffer but that was at least 2 years ago when I was reading on them so IDK honestly

oh yeah I forgot to mention I had the 1/4" spacers added in with the 885s and that is what brought me up to 3" of lift.

I see what u mean. Well If u like it.. By all means ... That sounds more than a job to me
I don't believe I could see my self doing that... But hey, for different tastes is a flavor. Is def a lot involved with your job.. Auditing, numbers and more numbers .. Lol... Not my pet peeve .. But I could deal with the computer tech aspect, like computer programs or any application software that I'm pretty sure you guys use for performing task, editing, or electronic applications like word processing and spreadsheets.. Etc.. I'll be ok with that.... I just hate too many numbers together lol
I see know why .. U be talking about not having time.. Lol .. The CPA exam is what? 4 to 5 different parts and each part is like 4 to 5 hours long I heard!?? Dammmnnn ....!!:bowdown:That's crazy!! U got my respect mister.
I guess I'll stick to my security & Cisco Certs.. Lol
But the money is there ... Don't blame u.. Or u might love it.. I mean  do it!
Right now I just started my Cisco 1 network course.. Lol enough material for me:D

    NO ALCOHOL??? That sucks!!!
Lol.. Playing. I do drink but collectively and moderate... Mayority of times always end up been the DD.
But yeah... Let us know.. I could help out..., we can share opinions, interact with one another... Find best solutions for the specific application, learn new things..install parts.. Fix things... Or brake things, somtng we don't wanna do intensionsly ... hope that doesn't happen! .. but definetly

That part #OME2886 is looking very appealing to me.. I've red pros and cons about them so far. Some say they're to stiff without any extra weight on the front like an aftermarket bumper, or a concealed front winch.. Other say that is a pretty good ride for a 3" front lift... I'm still debating ... Should u get them or not?? After finishing installing my expo leaf springs Im gonna need a 3" lift on front for some good price assembled shocks & struts and to me this are a bang for the buck ... what u guys think??

Are those Radflos come in a 3" lift application..? Don't know to much about them. But I heard they're are a bit up in price for not having a cooling reservoir
If I'm passing 1k on front coilovers, I might as well save a bit more and get me the FOX 2.5 Factory Series Reservoir +DSC (0-3") but for now I'm not trying to spend more than 800 :D

edit: see below...maybe 887s for the win

if you don't plan on weight up front and want a full 3" lift I would stick with the 885s with 1/4" spacers on top (they add about 1/2 lift) and the trim packer spacer for the driver side lean. HOWEVER this is when used with the OME struts. I am not positive of the lift effects with the bilstein cause I didn't use them for that. Or like previously mentioned go with the 887s without spacers IF that can get you to 3" of lift.
either way we have trucks not Cadillacs so I kind of expect a stiffer more firm ride.

I will say this, when I went from my OME kit with dakars and 885s to my Icon kit with 700lb coils and the dakars the very first time my dad rode in my truck he asked if I changed the suspension cause it rode rougher than before (meaning when I had the 885s OME kit) So there is some unbiased opinion cause he could care less and had no clue I swapped my suspension about a week prior.

Here are the OME coil specs:

    Coil Specifications:
OME 883X: 375mm in height 590 pound spring rate
Approximate lift height on 4wd double cab: "1"
OME 884X: 390mm in height 590 pound spring rate
Approximate lift height on 4wd double cab: 2"
OME 885X: 395mm in height 590 pound spring rate
Approximate lift height on 4wd double cab: 2.5" (thus need a 1/4' spacer takes it to 3" in my personal experience)
OME 886X: 402mm in height 660 pound spring rate
Approximate lift height on 4wd double cab with 200+lbs of additional up front weight : 2.5"
OME 887X: 400mm in height 590 pound spring rate (Same spring rate, 5mm taller than the 885s....1/4 in = 6.35mm thus this sounds like it can equate to having the 885s with 1/4' spacers achieving
    the 3" of lift

Approximate lift height on 4wd double cab: 3"
OME 888X: 405 mm in height 590 pound spring rate
Approx. 2.5" of lit on a 2016 4wd double cab
(888 coils not recommended for 05-15 models)

seeing this I would prob give the ole 887s a shot

HOWEVER if you plan on an aftermarket bumper I would go with the 886s unless it is going to be an aluminum bumper (which I have and HAD with the 885s and it is so light it didn't affect any of my lift)

That was my thoughts when I put on the 885s but ended up getting the upgrade anyway. My advice would be to save up and get what you really want and not have to worry about upgrading again in the future.

this....do it ONCE and save....I and many others on here have done it more than once and not only do you end up spending more you also spend more time putting on one lift, taking it off, putting on the next. Time is $$$ and the only thing you can't buy in life :)

Slight lift for function. Mods galore.
Yeah, I've looked at 4WP and they are ridiculously priced. I ordered OME 884 coils paired with Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rears. I just wanted a mild lift and that should get me between 1.75 and 2", since my truck is an everyday driver and work unit. It's cool about the alcohol policy, I don't have to drink either. Twas just a suggestion. Sometimes, I just enjoy a cold sip between wrench turns. Not getting pants pissing drunk or anything like that. But do look into that Low Range deal. Would've saved me a whopping $9 if I had gone with them. Cheers!
