Probably the best dog I have ever owned was a golden retriever.
I had one growing up. Had him from 10 years old until I was 23. My daughter played with him until she was 2 years old. At 13, he would let her ride on his back. I got another one when I was 25. He was awesome. Lived until he was 12.

That's awesome and I love that. My dog is 4 and my 5 month old son is just starting to pet her. Hoping she lives to 12-13 so he can grow with her a little bit.

We wanted a golden too but I just didn't know if I wanted a long haired dog. I love them though my good buddy has one :)

It's so dark in my kitchen lol
She is an American lab and is a lot smaller/slender than the traditional "block head" English labs. My sister in law has a 1 year old English lab and he weighs 120lbs. She is 4 years old and weighs 50-55lbs. That's the perfect weight to me :)
    Such a small lab

It's better than the alternative... you could be drowning and your dog just sitting there on its ass doing nothing. Proactive in this case is probably better than the alternative lol

We got our last golden right before our younger daughter was born. She group up with him, and never knew life without him until he passed away due to cancer. That was several years ago, and she still misses him.

    That's so sad.
We only had cats growing up (still not a cat fan) and I was devistated for a long time when I found ours dead while walking to the bus stop as a child. That being said I don't even want to know how bad of shape I am going to be in when my dog passes. Lol it's going to be bad for us for sure.

When your dog passes... it's gut wrenching. I was oversea's when my dog passed away and I got the call from my dad. I've only seen him cry once in my life, and to hear him bawling on the phone tore me up. I cried like a baby as well. Dogs really are an extension of your family, and I still think of my dog to this day. I have his harness and his chew toy in the house still, and he passed over 14 years ago.

Gentlemen, do we have a tire hook up in Jax currently? A friend of mine needs tires desperately on her Camry and $$$ is an issue. Need a hook up fellas.

Slight lift for function. Mods galore.
Why would one spend half of that for a tiny roof top tent when you can get a fancy 9 person instant pop up ground tent for $160? o_O

1-I don't want to sleep on the ground and get flooded ever again
2-I want to be able to keep this on my truck and pop it open whenever I like
3-Over spending all the time and effort setting up a tent (usually I have had plenty to drink by then so it takes too long)
4-I have bought at least 4-5 tents and they all break at some point. Over that.
5-I would camp more if less trouble and opening a RTT is less trouble in my book.
6-suckers are solid with mattress already inside, you can leave your sleeping bags, sheets, pillows etc inside and just close it up and throw the cover on. Opening it up to camp next time and you are ready to go with everything exactly how you left it.
    7-They are cool
8-Can double as a deer stand
9-Can double as a duck blind
10-I am out.....I just want one.

almost forgot...when I am up high I can take a leak on all the people in there ground tents too:rofl:

FYI they emailed me back...there is a 1 yr warranty and the shipping is free, so you get that and the TW discount. Free shipping is pretty big deal that saves easy $120-$150 on top of the discount.

    Interesting

Precisely. I hate being flooded in a tent. And the durability is lacking, when i was a young lad, we always camped every summer in the keys. 1 year our tent was snapped up and collapsed when we got back from visiting key west. And the other time i had 4 inches of water in my tent the first night. Slept in the car the rest of the week.

yeah I have had my tent flood at least 50% of the time...granted I never have bought one of those awesome expensive camping tents but I have floated in mine a couple times haha
