Jacksonville, FL Area Scheduled Meets-Ongoing

Hey Key - thanks for the invite.

What type of terrain do you encounter there?

I was looking around and found on Alltrails.com a neat looking sandy trail that runs along some power lines that's just North of Salt Springs. Here's a link showing the entrance of the trail:

If you know of any other cool places to check out, I'd love if you and anyone else could you share a Google Map location link to them?

 

I mean there's an OHV park, Hardrock out there, otherwise I just go out there and start going down trails looking for interesting stuff and getting lost.

There's also Citrus County Wildlife Reserve that has some decent (for Florida) washouts to do.

Unfortunately there just ain't a whole lot of wheeling to be done in Florida.

Yeah - another member told me about the Citrus WMA. I'm looking forward to taking the wife there to go camping and try out some of the trails.

Lol, you're right about Florida not having much to offer. We just got back from camping in Georgia a few weeks ago - had been a long time since we've been camping - and now we've got the itch in our system and can't wait to go again! Will have to search out some trails in Georgia next time before we go again.

Got too busy with life and couldn’t stay on top of it anymore though.

 

Im Central Florida based, and go to Citrus pretty regularly with a group of friends. Usually Sundays. We also like Ocala National Forest sometimes, haven’t been to HardRock yet but we want to plan a trip there sometime. The group is called FLORVE (Florida OffRoad Vehicle Enthusiasts) on Facebook if anyone still uses that. I also have a thread called Citrus Monthly Adventures or something like that where I post our scheduled trail days if anyone wants join us sometime.

Hey! Thanks for the info! Like some of the other guys mention in those threads, I just might have to create a Facebook account and check it out... and to be able to utilize FB Marketplace to keep an eye out for more Tacoma upgrades.

Actually I work in Jax but purchased a house up in Yulee.

 

I go there frequently. Tasty's is a pretty good restaurant, one of my favorites!

 

First place we ate in Yulee.

 

In the new Wildlight area or by the theater? Haven't been to the new one yet.
