Yeah "Roughneck" has been visiting the Jax boy's and several of the Jax Taco's have made it down south.
Looking for a good Orlando/Jax hook up at the Citrus Meet in January.

hey simon, ill take you up on this offer, my friend, she's doesnt know what she wants right now...got on the subject of me and her last night and she doesnt seem to know. and i havent gotten an answer if id be able to stay at her house the day before. shes been on and off about everything lately so Im just gonna try not to worry about it and just plan to go the this meet alone and then if she ever decides to give me an answer about next weekend i can go give her a ride. it's really just frustrating with how she acts about everything. its like one week she happy and talkative and friendly then the next week she doesnt know what she wants and doesnt want to talk to anyone....fucking frustrating...why does it have to be so difficult

ill prob pick up some more camping stuff this next payday and ill be joining you guys for camping by myself since she's being whatever right now

 

Sorry to hear that man. Take it from me, when a girl knows what she wants she will let you know. I wouldn't even worry about it and just come on over and have a good time. Don't even get me started I have been in similar situations, don't waste you breathe and just do your thing bro. Everything works out in the end even if she is never in the picture.

 

Haha Im pretty well in your shoes too. If I end up going alone Ill probably join everyone for camping as well, also I have a small charcoal grill too if I go we can use that too.

I just hope things do work out and she decides what she wants. I know it's dumb to worry about things like that...but every time I think about it i can't imagine being with someone else. I don't like feeling depressed about things like this...I hope I can at least try to hang out and have fun then hang out as friends with her and see how things go. I know that she has some things going on in her life with family...so I don't really want to push things like this and ruin everything. It's just annoying because 2 weeks ago when I told her about this meet she was ecstatic about seeing me again, and now she just doesn't seem to care and hasn't been texting me

 

Hmm well Im not going to just openly give you relationship advice as thats none of my business but I say come out and get a good weekend to get it off your mind a little bit.

 

Don't mean to bust your bubble man but she obviously could be either not as interested as you thought she was or seeing multiple guys that occupy her time and maybe she is interested in another guy here in Jax at the moment. I have done my fair share of playing the "game" and have been strung along as well strung people along in the past and it's not hard to see right through the bull shit. Just hard to see through the BS when it is happening to you. IMO the best thing to do is not even act like you want to see her when you come over. Ignore her and just do your own thing. I honestly wouldn't even try to see her when you came of she is doing that because that just shows her she calls all the shots and honestly girls might think they like to call the shots but deep inside they like the guy to be in control (most of the time).
That is why you always see the girls liking the guys who either ignore them or treat them like crap, sad for us good guys but sometimes that is just the way it is lol.
You are both young so just roll with it and take it wil a grain of salt. I got hung up on a chick so bad back in the day to the point of where I had to get on depression meds, believe me in the grand scheme of your life the woman you marry will never put you through that shit. So hang on and have some fun with your boys and not worry about the bs cause I bet you $100 she won't be the woman you marry in 5-6 years anyway lol.

nah it's all good, it's just something I needed to talk about. I've kinda just kept all of this In and haven't really said anything about and it was starting to effect work. I understand that it's something stupid to really be worried about. I've been trying to move on, it's just difficult to. I just need to get out more often to clear my mind lol and forget about all of this...thanks though man, I kinda needed that haha. Lookin forward to meeting up with all you guys even if it's by myself lol

 

None of my business at all Alfuh (hell, we haven't even met before/yet) but, the advice from slcsez2000 and the others is spot on. The best cure is to get out, mingle and hang with your friends. Hell, you'll undoubtedly find another girl you can focus your attention on when out and about where you live, here in St. Augustine or up in Jacksonville...

If it's affecting your job (especially being ATC!), make sure you talk to your supervisor if it has been that bad and is affecting your performance (I'm AF man so I know how it is and I know it's scary to say stuff.....)

 

If it weren't for my friends taking me out and getting my mind off a girl back in the day when I was at my lowest point I honestly might have done something stupid to myself. 6 years from now you will be happy and look back and laugh at how you let someone have such a negative affect on your emotions and life. Your buds will always be around and now I always have them call me for advice about relationships and marriage cause they know what I have gone through and overcome. I can tell you this I am now married to a woman I would have never even considered back then and funny thing is we used to work together for like 3 years haha. Strange things happen, funny how things end up.

 

Very agreed especially being military as well AND your age. Dont even have to necessarily be a supervisor, you have options.

Also what slcsez2000 said. Dont let it get you down and doing something to put your mind at ease is the best thing you can do. Got plenty of time and options still unseen my friend.

 

It's all good guys haha, I really do appreciate all the advise and help, works been better, there was a week there where my mind wasn't focused 100% on the aircraft and luckily not much happened at work. But yeah being atc i need to be focused, cant have shit like that getting in the way. Glad I got you guys here on TW haha
