I had my 2011 prerunner for 2 hours before I decided I needed to trade it in for 4x4
Sitting in the woods for 4-5 hours stuck made me feel like I made the wrong choice lol.
Searching and searching and 6 months later I was into a 4x4. (But I have also had it stuck) :anonymous:

Oh nick BTW, a modification we may need to make on the bumper and for good reason, think I figured out what those tabs that came with it were for. I'll text you tomorrow with details and pictures. Also did I leave those there? I don't remember.

Remember those little extension things at the bottom of my frame that I said unbolt? Those tabs go to the bottom of the bumper so it can bolt there as well. We done goofed haha EVERY other bumper on the market bolts there.

Hey you were following my guidance at that point and I'm getting a degree in engineering sooo I mean I don't think you look bad haha.

How's this weekend sound? I've got stuff to do each morning this week and work evenings, but could possibly make an evening work.

Welp finished all the grinding on the bumper! But I can't get the rhino lining done til Monday :pout:

Although now I have time to design nicks trailer and mount my winch in the bumper and play with that a little

you rather Rhino line than powder coat it? Powder coat would be much better IMO but that is just me. Any who, Josh since you are going to school to be an engineer and going to design Nick's trailer I propose you design us a stock length LCA if you are any good with CAD.:D:D This is your homework assignment from the Jax thread lol:fingerscrossed:

From talking with folks, I just figure after pricing out new LCA bushings & lower ball joints and the amount of time it would take me to replace all that (or even pay someone to) it would be cheaper to buy some of the aftermarket ones with all that already installed. Heck new LCA bushings run around $90 or so, not sure what the ball joints cost yet. Looking around online you could get a set of non OEM similar stock LCAs for around $200-$300 for the set with everything already in there. I just wonder how reliable they are as far as strength and how good the bushings and ball joints are (I really don't want to do this every 40,000 miles honestly). I have no need to spend $1,400-$1,600 on a set of TC or dirt kings LCAs as I honestly don't think the value is there (for me at least) and I have no plans to do any long travel setup ever.
