I live in Jax as well, Mandarin. Ive been out to Jennings before and its a fun but far trip. They're are some offroading areas kind of by me that I hit up frequently.

As a jax native.... Man, you're in the heart of salt water fishing heaven. Bass fishing is few and far between here. Some good salt water fishing in Jax will ruin you for freshwater forever.

The last time I went to the first location, It had posts in the ground with chain across them and I couldn't get back there. I didn't try very hard, but it looked pretty well blocked to me.

And the second place I've heard of police showing up and making people leave. I've never been there, though. There's got to be better spots out of the city. I've driven all over down south of Jax and see tons of places that look interesting, but not sure the legality of some of the areas. Out here, some guy might run me down in his pickup with a shotgun yelling at me to get off his property...

I've actually never been to the second one, I've just been told. But the first one I've been to multiple times. It's a tad sketchy when you first drive in but once you're in it's fun. Some little trails back there and mud holes and in the very back there's a big mud hole and a big sand pit that's fun to play around. Also, Jenning's state forest is a fun little off-road park if you don't mind the drive. We've tacoma meets there before

I know this is going to sound really lame...buut... at the second one, are the trails wide enough to avoid paint scratches? My truck is less than 3 months old so I'm still touchy about it. haha. I'm not ready for pin stripes just yet.
