That sucks. You've got me thinking about trying to find a steering column with tilt and intermittent wipers now. Maybe a trip to yoda jim's is in order.

Yoda Jims is a great place. Love those guys. A few of them are real familiar with my truck (I go there often for parts).

Found a post of yours detailing your suspension setup and how it was around $200 all in - where'd you get the rough country front shocks? On wheeler's I found their add a leaf and the rear shocks, but they only have bilstein or OME for the front.

I was planning on saving up (slowly) for a full lift kit, but if I can get a setup like yours for anywhere under 500 I'd be much happier pulling the trigger a bit sooner.

Wheelers used to sell the front shocks too. The 881 springs will work with oem shocks. The rear shocks should be a bit longer. Honestly, I'd try saving for the bilstien 881's and the ome springs.

Time to get the truck through inspection and emissions. Wish me luck. Since winter is quickly approaching, getting the heater fixed has moved to the top of the to-do list.

Went off-roading with my co-workers and boss. Truck did well. Could use some more articulation, and I still need to figure out the locker. Got to winch my co-worker'S LJ Wranger up an obstacle called "mini Moab" near woodland park, co.

Also showed off the Tacoma at rsg off-road in Lakewood, CO for a venture overland meet. Check out both pages on facebook.

RSG just finished building a badass 5th gen 4Runner on 40's (pictured above)!
Venture Overland is run by a bunch of rad Toyota dudes, and one works for Toytec lifts (call Hugo and tell him I sent you).

Ha! Found you lol. It was great seeing the truck again in person today. Just read through the whole thing. Quite a build.

If you have facebook, join Venture Overland. They often have meet and greets and off-roading trips. They'd get a kick out of your supercharged V6 single cab.

It's one of my favorite trails! I've only been far left and far right. My boss did right/center and almost slid into the tree. I egged the jeep into going up the center...and had to winch him out. Lol. Still, it was a fun time.

I was a dumbass who was a bit overconfident and went down the left side. Everyone heard when I hit my hitch on the shelf.

Nice Subaru add on :) if you get tired of the high pitch sound and want a deeper sound, the 4 horn Cadillac setup works pretty dam good for our years
    Truck looks great,
Got to upgrade those mirrors though, once you do it you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner, the newer style are fixed and are break away, so no more
adjusting every time you go through a car wash or if they get bumped.

By newer mirrors, you mean mirrors from the 01-04 trucks?
