What did you do with your old wheels? Some of my favorite older ones. Love the new steelies too. Great looking truck man. Subd.

 

Because the stock seats suck, and my buddy crashed his rig, I scored some cheap Acura RSX type S bucket seats. They are super comfortable and I highly recommend them.

 

I still have my old wheels and almost brand new tires sitting in my garage. I'm about ready to sell them.

 

My truck now earned its trd off-road badge. I sourced a new front diff with 4.30 gears, and rear e locker axle (4.30 gears). We modified the front diff to go from an ADD setup to a manual one. Wired it together with a 12v guy e locker kit. Also did ball joints while we had it all out. Also did a new steering rack (#3) and a transfer case seal. Two solid days of work. Realized later that week that putting a non-abs axle shaft into a abs axle housing creates bad leaks. Damn. The e brake locations are different. Later made a custom bracket, that still needs fine tuning.

 

Earned that damn trd badge

 

Went wheeling near Idaho springs, co, to test out the locker and new gears. It was beast!

 

Got a stainless skid plate from a group buy here on TW. I'm glad I got the auto one, because someone had installed an auto radiator on my manual truck.

 

Went to a Toyota FJ group's toys for tots run. See if you can spot my old taco...

 

Picked up some sliders, on Cl. They're trail gear 60". I'll upload pics in a few weeks when installed.

I almost scored an arb for 250 bucks Super bummed I missed that one. I'm pretty sure 80% of my free time is on Cl or TW classifieds

An ARB bumper would be cool but with a 4banger I can see that heavy bumper causing a drop in mpgs..... although you're not in California where gas prices are sky rocketed

good looking truck, trying to figure out whats goin on with the minion stickers on the washer fluid reservoir lol. I love the ammo can center console too. And how much was the header used? I want one but don't wanna fork over $400 for it

 

As I see it, I have 5 options:
1) supercharged 3rz
2) turbocharged 3rz
3) 2jz
4) ls1
5) 1.9 tdi (my personal facorite)

Washer bottle was cracked, and the girlfriend (at the time) had minion duct tape (lol). Header was a steal.
