    frees the phone so your able to install TONS of free apps and change pretty much anything you want on the phone. Install custom ROM's and make it your own.

    im not to sure if the IP4 lets you do wireless tethering, but with my DINC once i put my ROM on i can do wireless tethering for FREE. :D

    for free! there are things you have to pay for. BUT this guy xSellize does everything for free. so he has all the themes and tweaks for free.

    I have the Iphone 4 for verizon.. been thinking about jail breaking it. Does anyone know if it voids your warranty? thats my only concern with it, and someone said if its jail broken the warranty is void.

    correct, but its reversible. so if something does happen, just restore it.

    unless the phone is in such a condition that it cant be restored.. which is where the warranty and insurance would be needed.. and why i'm hesitant to jail break it. If it gets wet or crushed or something you cant restore it

    thats when (for verizon) assurion comes in. pay $50 and get a new phone
    verizon wont cover if it gets crushed. if you purchased the Assurion insurance when you got your phone then you have nothing to worry about.
