They used to have like a tram car you can ride to the top for cheap then just kinda zig zag your way back down through the exhibits. I was stationed there as a tactical ATC supporting 4thID

$2600/year through USAA for Colorado insurance and a clean driving record. I’m 32 as well soo there’s that.

Tactical ATC...the best guys to tell you stuff that doesn’t make sense, clear to you to land on top of other aircraft or just not answer the radio at all...

Nice, I just asked my girlfriend and she says there is like a gondola there now. I’m with 10th group, trying to stay here as long as possible.

Yeah they bought it outright. Tried to give me $43k for it, walked away with a check for $55k. It’s currently for sale at BogJoesTruckworld for $59k haha

Uh, I never had that issue. Ionly had one crash, right in front of me, pilot error at NTC. I have been out since '88 and have no idea what it is like now but we were prety serious about our jobs back then.

I think I’m gonna mount some sort of Bluetooth thermometer back there so I can monitor while I’m driving around. I’ll probably pull the kennel covers off and if it gets too hot I’ll let them back in the cab. Hopefully by them the puppy will be done with the chewing phase.

Definitely keep the windows open but we will see. The kennels are supposed to be crash rated so I’d like to keep them in there. If it gets too hot they can ride in the cab.

Some lighting and a switch pros setup in the near future. Everything else will be after the holidays. Bumpers or super charger?! I’m 50/50 at this point.

I honestly don’t know how so many people can afford the damn things. They’re everywhere these days. The only reason I bought one was because I saved forever. I feel like there’s a lot of mortgage size raptor payments going on out there.

I updated with some of the reasons. Overall reliability was another big one for me.

Point, flush, retrieve, repeat! Jk they haven’t done shit yet. Maybe this next season I’ll be here to actually hunt them instead of just train.

My front KINGs coilovers on the Raptor retail at that price. Mind you, that is not including the matching bypass shocks to go with them up front nor the rears.

My insurance is around $2200 a year. I have high coverage limits across the board—especially uninsured motorist—and State Farm covers all my aftermarket goodies.

LOL you didn't think about just getting a Pro? Personally, I don't want to mess with any aftermarket parts for awhile as it is not all that it is cracked up to be. Yea, it looks cool for Instagram, but often the performance upgrades are marginal at best. Not to mention, it is equivalent to taking your money and dropping it off the side of a bridge!

Yeah I think Colorado insurance has gone up a bit the last few years cuz we’re getting hammered with hail every summer and the insurance companies are losing there asses. I don’t really want a pro, just wanted to build my own something. The money is whatever, makes me happy and I think the truck will be much more capable with the current upgrades.

Wait I just re-read this. You’re talking about spending a ton of money putting King’s with bypasses front and rear on a raptor but bagging on my tacoma upgrades as it’s “dropping money off a bridge?” I guess I don’t get it.

I have a similar breed of dog. They don't grow out of it.
