    Has Spektrum stepped up their game? Saw like 10 planes destroyed due to them deciding to randomly unbind. Said I would never own a Spektrum product. Always flew Futaba.

    utter bullshit. Anytime somebody crashes they blame the hardware instead of dumb thumbs. I trust flying my helicopters that are more than capable of killing people if out of control to Spektrum products. Never had an issue. Those are the same people who don't know how to calibrate the "return home" feature on a stupid quad and wonder why it flew away to Kansas.

    I haven't been into RC cars that much for quite a while, but do still have an 8ight-T E 2.0 and an AX-10. Run both those on a elcheapo-amigo Hobby King TX-RX combo with zero issues. If I were to buy a new air TX, it would probably be a HiTec.

    This is worse than a Chevy Ford debate. Say what you like, I've seen people doing all sorts of things with their spectrum transmitter while their planes don't do anything. Whether that's an RX TX problem, or a receiver battery/BEC problem is debatable, but I've seen it happen where a receiver pack tests good after the crash. Keep in mind we're talking several years ago at the start of Spektrum in DSM 2 days. One guy in particular I know sent in his TX to be repaired. Spektrum acknowledged the issue.

    This thread was kind of suppose to be a joke. There's all sorts of appropriate BS threads, so why do we need more in important threads?




    Oh, and Mason's here. This thread will be a true BS thread shortly. You guys have a lot of catching up to do to keep up with DCSBFTMFW's shitshow.

    Not saying one is better than the other :). I prefer Airtronics myself but Spektrum has better support at the hobby shops. Yes the DSM had issues but you have to remember they were on the cutting edge of 2.4 at the time. Crystal radios were still in high use. Now it has been perfected and all the name brands use it. No issues. Honestly I'm not impressed with the DXC4, seems kind of toy like and the grip sucks. But it was cheap so I'll use until I crash and blame the hardware.
