Sooo, who's camping and who's roughing it in a hotel. My 17yo son is to cool to camp out with Dad so we gotta a find a place to stay, any suggestions?

 

Good luck. Not many hotel rooms and I am guessing several from Jambo have already reserved them.

Most everyone that I know will camp. That is half the fun. Hang out at camp, talk about trails, trucks, modding plans, and laugh at the FJs driving down the main road with enough lights on to land a 747.

 

Yeah good luck getting a hotel in Gilmer this close to Jambo. They've likely been full for a couple of months. You'd probably have to look in Tyler to get a room this late. And that's a longer drive than I'd want to make a couple times a day.

That's a shame. High of low 80s, and low of 50s. Perfect camping weather in Texas for May.
