    Take a right off the Elk Heights exit. You’ll hit the trail within a half mile to mile. The truck nav was pretty accurate in terms of the trails up there. Gaia is useful too.

    What are we looking at distance wise for elk height/greenwater. Darrington i have only been able to find place with 30yds max for pew pew.

    This spot I’m thinking of going isn’t quite Darrington. Why don’t you guys all go to elk heights and I’ll do an exploratory run to this spot I have in mind. Give me a chance to setup my stands and steel without you guys having to sit around and wait for me while I do my first round with them. Hate to lead to a spot that doesn’t work out.

    I can buy a few boxes of each. Weather is looking more like a mountain bike weekend. So hopefully I can do that Saturday. I've been itching for some mud and puddles to play in

    I got my concealed two months ago and havent bought a mini pew yet...... too many other things to buy but I've been testing a few out. Got a really cool sog knife instead though lol

    I have A spot up green water 500yds no cross wind and maybe 8ft drop. The only problems around there is snow. Its big enough for 2-3 shooters.

    Edit: willing to go up after the snow.

    Well, I'm down to make another Elk Heights run, which it sounds like there's interest, unless anyone else knows of a for sure spot to go plinking west of the Cascades. Weather looks like freezing fog with mixed sun. Similar forecast from the other weekend out there. Fog was thick in the lowlands, but quickly gave way to sunshine once on the trail. Thoughts?
