Probably both. Lot of snow dumped up there. Let alone the ice on the thinner areas.

Im home now. everyone made it out. a ton of jeepers up there and a lot of recovery's. it took the group until 830 to all get un stuck.
Airing down is the key. some did and some only went down a little.
we got blocked by a large group of jeeps. i blasted around them all on a side road like a boss. only to wait 3 hrs. for the rest of them. what a long day.

That stupid jeep with 40s kept getting stuck and I crawled thru there, idiot. They ruined the trail for the rest of us. It's was fun tho, good times.

What happened exactly? ARB air lines are known to have issues in snow/cold, the cold creates condensation in the lines and water inside messes things up

From the sounds of it, the copper air line in the diff might have broken. That wouldn't be to bad if that's the case

air started blowing out the diff breather. i have an air dryer and a pressure reg. before the locker. maybe it will fix it self. but im thinking the seal failed on the locker causing air to get into the diff.

I made it up the icy part, to the end of the trail and back down. Then I went through the icy part again right past a flipped over Jeep then went to work. I was able to accomplish all of this while rolling on Duratracs!!!!

A lot of crap and too much money spent
What a day, made it home finally.

Recoveries , accident and search and resecue looking for a father and son that went out on their snowmobiles and got stuck. The wife mentioned that they left in the afternoon and we found them after 8pm.

I agree, the one jeep guy was kind of a knucklehead. They helped turn me around with a tug. After that he told me "sir please don't spin you tires on the way down" I told him I haven't been spinning my tires. I crawled up here. The best part about this is after the huge cluster at the top and after I was on my way down. Who did I drive up on stuck and getting pulled out by a couple of toyotas. Yep, mister "sir please don't spin your tires. I wanted to tell him "sir, please don't spin your tires on the way down":D

No, we stayed together until towards the end with the cluster at the top. We ended up connecting back up again.
