Interesting, but I have managed just fine to this point without it, so no.
Also just crying out for some malicious person to try and break it off, IMO
Probably going to be obsolete due to all the safety (nanny) sensors that will become more standard in the next few years.

Maybe it so you can see midgets and kids that you can't see over the hood in a cross walk.

Rather than risk the banhammer let me just reminisce. Back in high school, a good friend's sister was a 6' athletic blonde. After high school she went to study for a year in Japan. Let's just say she stood head and shoulders above her classmates.

Now consider the front of a third gen.

100% the reason, same reason flip up headlights do not exist anymore.

FJ's need dorky mirrors because of the blind spots, we don't need fender mirrors in our pickups :)

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Every taxi I have been in during travel to Japan have these fender mirrors. They give a nicer view of the side of the car I guess.

These cars also have a system where the driver can open and close the rear door from their drivers seat. Really neat.

Pretty sure America voted no to the fender mirror.

Remove inside fender liner, drill two holes with the provided template. (If not then use the mirror base to create one). Secure the mirror with two nuts, and you should have the fender mirror install.
