Thanks for coming on by George. Great video as per usual!

Post up your truck into the Work Wheels thread that is going on here!

For anyone else that would like to see some photos of these offerings, there are some high resolution photos in their respective threads :)

    Work Wheels

    Advan Racing

There is also a pretty solid thread going on with the Volk Te37’s!

Oh I have no doubt about that! Just thinking about these beauties getting nicks and scratched up while wheeling.

Have Japanese wheels on both of my vehicles... at times though I regret getting the RPT1s instead of TE37s.

Thanks, Branden. I ended up with the RG-D2’s. I had them wrapped with the BFG KO2’s I bought from you (unless there’s 2 Branden’s at SS) a few months ago. Lol.

My Chinese wheels are strong enough and a whole lot cheaper.

Although Weds wheels are not mentioned in this thread. I like how the 2020 oem TRD sport wheels resemble the Weds Adventure mudvannce O1 wheels, I don't think that particular model is JDM.

My secondhand Japanese wheels are a whole lot stronger and a whole lot cheaper than your Chinese wheels.

stronger how and why? I've yet to see a rash of broken wheels in all my years of off roading (or on road for that matter). The incidents I have seen that wheels actually broke, the wheels were the least of the concern because there was a whole list of other parts that had to be replaced as well and the wheels were pretty low on the list.

To start, the differences between forged and cast are indisputable.

Well... SSR Auswuch are often referred to as "the King of JDM Offroad Wheels"!!
And in 17", you may have one of the only sets in existence.

Also, do roadcourse stuff on the 20in works on the race truck that might end up w/forgelines to get a wider wheel. Also run ce28 and te37sl on my GTR.
