Haha I really wanna but I’m being patient. I want a Pioneer DMH but I gotta save some more for that, stupid expensive.
Also, I’m gunna run a DAC via optical directly to the Helix so I don’t necessarily need the head unit.

@japjoe7 I am doing a very similar build as you. Just ordered Helix M Six DSP and M One X and was searching around on here to find we both arrived at the same amp choices. I cut a piece of card board approx the size of both of the amps and it looks like the can set side by side under one seat on some type of amp board (truck has seat risers so I'm not sure if that's feasible otherwise?).

I had considered putting them in the rear but it would be nice to use the space behind the driver rear seat for storage and have sub (not sure which) on passenger side. The other option I was considering is one under each seat but for simplicity of wiring I'd prefer to keep them together- just not sure if that's possible until I really get it laid out once they arrive..

Where are you planning to put your amps/ wiring/ distribution?

Sorry man didn't see your post till today.

I initially wanted them under the seat but it's too cramped for my taste. I'm going to mount them on the back wall on a piece of 1/4" PVC. Plenty of room back there without the plastic.

    Setup similar to this:

That seems like a good plan.

Are you planning to run 0 gauge to your distribution block? I did all my calculations just running to the front seats and settled on 4 Gauge but your run is a little longer to the rear. Also I don't plan to run the M One X at 1 ohm and most likely about 600w @ 2 ohm to a Sundown SD-4 neo. Ended up totaling 143 amps for the pair of amps at 80% efficiency (staying at 2 ohm on the sub amp).

I wonder how that JL will sound off 200 watts. I thought about doing that too, like 2 phases. Are you using their stealth box?

I was going to do all 4awg but then said Fuck it and will do 1/0awg to the dist. block then Y 4awg to both amps. I was going to do the M One X too but changed my mind. I’m not a total bass head that needs to shake the windows so the M Four will fit my needs. I’m more of a SQ guy. If I was doing something with more power like you I’d go for the M One X too. Im going to get it all professionally tuned when I’m done and that will make all the difference. Thought about the stealth box too but since they upper the price I said no way. I’m making my own box with 3/4” birch and all the proper SQ measurements meant for the JL.

I’m going to say no right now but will not rule it out after I’m done initially. We always want more, right!

Welp, gotta find a way to get those little white clips that fell in the door out of the sail panel. I can hear them buzzing around.

I've got 3-5 that fell in the drivers side back door and just left them for now. :rofl:It's 102 today and the black glue holding the plastic weather barrier kept pulling up in strands like bubble gum and sticking to everything. Anyway, I think the trick is to slide them all the way to the top and click that top door panel piece in very last. I was only able to get 2 as the middle one pushed in and fell through the hole. F it. :annoyed:

Fuck, welp spent a shit ton of money on a new receiver and accessories. Got the Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX, Maestro, and all associated cables.

Got Power wire, speaker wires ran and some speaker wire in the doors. Running this Knukonceptz speaker wire though the rubber grommet in the door is a PITA. Wrapped the power wire in loom as well for some extra protection and isolated from the speaker wire.

God damn right! End up using my cash I saved for a sub. I'll just use an old MTX 10" Blue Thunder for a while until I save up more for a new one.

Well, you've got some really nice stuff picked out and I'm sure the end result will be worth it. After a while you just have to stop adding everything up and just enjoy it.

When I bought the truck I told myself I'm not cheeping out on anything. I'm also at the age where I want what I want, I'm getting it(within reason) and I don't have a significate other to worry about. Can't wait to hear it when I'm done.
