A little update... Just received some 285/70/17 Cooper ST maxx tires. Pretty stoked:D

Nice! Are those more of a mud terrain tire? What are the specs on them(load range etc)? Are you going to regear/what gears do you have now?

They are an AT, similar to duratracs. But as you can tell they are an aggressive looking all terrain! They are 10-ply load E, and I'm staying at stock gears for now.

Yeah, just not enough power in the v6 for my liking. Are you on stock UCAs, I can't remember?

Put the OME 884 coils on. I decided to do the suspension disassembly without the spring compressor and using the floor jack. Wow, it was so much easier. Hoping to get some good pictures and measurements in the next few days. Also want to throw on the 285s this monday

That method worked good for putting 884s on? You got enough threads through and all? Had to loosen you LCA alignment bolts, right?

Can't wait for pics and reviews on how it drives

Yep it worked perfectly. And yep loosened the alignment bolts so the control arm could droop enough. And I'll show some pictures and talk about the ride after my alignment and tires

Nice! How is it with the tires you have now though? Only wonder since I have the same size and stock UCAs too.

Post up pics of truck and alignment specs if you could, when you have time of course

    Thanks man

My alignment wasn't too bad, I lost the sheet but I had 1.8* of caster on one side and 1.7* on the other.

Don't have to chop the cab mount.. Yet at least. But tire rubs on front of wheel well

Ohhh, what are the offset and backspace in your wheels? Depends on that also
