okay I thought well you could always drill holes in the top if you wanted it to. But didn't want to be a troll

Placed the order today. $1440 + tax. Got a Pace w/ sliding front window, cargo lift side doors (still tinted glass) and an aluminum "honeycomb" reinforcement so I can add a rack later if I decide to. No carpet, that would have been another $140 and I can live without it. The dealer was of course very friendly and got the paint code off the Taco for the order and said it should be 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Once it comes in I will post lots of pics and give my review.

I have a Jason cap on my 2016 tundra. The cap itself is fine. The fit of the back lift window is reall bad and the hardware is really cheap. Rusted the first year. The real window leaks and has been nearly impossible to get to fit tightly enough not to have gaps. The window itself slides back and forth so it has to be on the truck just perfect. Good price but you have to willing to live with the qulaity issues

Anyone have anymore information on these caps?

I was quoted $1350 out the door with 2 free options such as carpet, drifferent side windows, pet screens, different front window, etc...

Sounds like a pretty good deal since it would cost about $350 more to get an ARE with the same options and a drive two hours away.

I ended up getting a LEER 100RCC. A lot more money (nearly a grand more). Its a long story that played out over a few threads but the short answer is, the cap arrived damage, dealer had it fixed. So far so good. When I went to pick it up he managed to smash it into a dumpster while bringing it out on a fork lift. Ruined it. After sever weeks of waiting, I just got my money back and went to a LEER dealer.

My experience was bad only because of the dealer, not the cap itself.

Having said that, I really do wish the deal would have worked out, the cap looked great (minus the damages) and would have suited my needs.

Digging up an old thread instead of making a new one. I apologize.

I've found one on marketplace for a good buy, anyone have experience putting the RTT on the shell? Seems like a bad idea but thought i'd start here.

    Stock for now.. maybe

I know nothing about this brand but whatever brand you get and plan on putting weight on top of it I highly suggest a good set of bed stiffeners. I have a Leer, no RTT but I do put several hundred pounds of kayaks on top occasionally (while driving shitty back roads) and because our second gens aren't made like my first gen bed stiffeners are needed.
