Well we had a lil mini mod day at my house Saturday.

As for my build, URD Short Shifter is installed. Short is an understatment. It's like an xbox joystick now. Also the URD 7th Injector kit is in. Not too terrible of an install...except I fucked up and had to drop the gas tank twice. :anonymous: I'm all smiles right now though.
    :burnrubber:

Couple of house photos. That's a lot of Toyotas

Yeah it's a Demollo. Call them. They can do whatever you want. Winch, lightmounts, etc.

I'd love to go to the Pismo meet, but I'm on wedding detail on the 19th. Pismo is a long effing drive too, and when I go, I go all out. Toy hauler get's loaded up and we go for at least 3 days. I'll be back out once the snow melts though.

dang, i just noticed how long the resi hose is on the CO's... it's cool you have them protected by the front skid.

any idea why fox made them so long?

sounds like the truck is really coming along. nice job, looking foreward to checking it out in person one day

Actually fox didn't make them that long. They were much shorter and originally attached to the frame up front. However the tires were rubbing on one side. Had the lines extended and welded resi brackets to the front crossmember. One resi is above the crossmember, one is below, and as you noticed, well protected behind the skid.

I'd like to see yours too. I need to compare notes on someone else's rear LT.

Actually I'm interested in the limit straps. Where are they mounted, how long are they, do I need them, who sells them, yadda yadda yadda. I'm sure most of those questions if not all are all relative to each individual truck setup, but what the hell. You asked :D

your rear end isn't strapped? wow, i'm surprised. now that i think about it, do you have bump stops?

as you know, you need both cause they are very important. right now your shocks could be acting as your limit straps and thats def not good to over extend the shock and you need bumps to stop your up travel and not have metal on metal contact.

here's how my straps are set up, running the straps like this keep them out of the way of the shock and wheels. my straps are 16" and i got them from SDHQ (www.superduty-hq.com)

there are tons of places that have straps: poly performance, kartek, SDHQ, beard... they are all gonna be about the same price and quality so pick your poison. you'll prob want a 16" strap as well, assuming your leafs are 61.5". are they F67's?

Negative ghostrider. No straps. I saw your pix on your rear LT thread which is why I asked. I'm Trying to get all this crap hashed out before I launch it in Pismo.

As for my leafs, yes I have the F67's mounted up to a 12" drop shackle. I have bump stops, but they are not air bumps like yours. I don't suppose you have some close ups showing the air bumps mounted to the frame and what you did on the axle where it comes in contact with? And If I'm looking at the pix correctly, did you have to notch the bed/fenderwell to fit the air bumps?

    EDIT:
Nevermind Matt, I just saw the picture I was looking for 16 pages deep on your build thread. Thanks for your help!

^ cool. glad you found the pics.

the bumps cans were just welded to the frame but in order to clear the tires i had to run wheel spacers or a new rear axle. went with the spacers for now cause i couldn't find a good deal on an axle.

you'll def want to get some straps before going airborne. i'll try to make the pismo trip too so we can get some flying time together :D
