Changed out the air filter

Seats removed, interior cleaned and cleaned again. Me and my girl have a solid 8 hours cleaning up this mess but turned out really good. Seems like all the hair was protecting the actual material.

Took it in and installed a stock style muffler. The PO was running a glass pack of some sort and sounded like shit, to me anyway. It still is a little louder than what I wanted but much better. Does anyone know why, someone told me that maybe they hollowed out the cat...



Took off all the stickers from back window and tailgate, put a mule deer sticker I had laying around but not 100% sold on it, looks too big for the little window, might be coming off soon...

Changed out the front passenger exterior door handle with a new one from Toyota, it was broken when I bought it, pretty easy job with some youtube help...

 

Looks like a nice project. Nice to see that your making it nice again!

I had a set of 3rd gen 4runner Limited wheels that I thought would look cool on the taco. I decided to give them a darker look from the oem silver. First step was to clean and degrease. After they dried I wiped them again with alcohol and sprayed them with DupliColor etching primer. The final color will be DupliColor Graphite. Stay tuned...

4 coats of graphite and 2 coats of clear, will be doing another couple coats of clear this evening...

All done, a total of 4 coats of graphite & 4 coats of clear on wheels and caps, waiting on tires now, 265/75/16 BFG KM2s. Also waiting on OME 3", Dee Zee chest style tool box black, Black taillights as one of mine are cracked, and a black oem style rear bumper as mine didn't have one when I bought it. The suspense is killing me!!!!

Changed out the spark plugs and wires (Toyota parts) and changed the motor oil and filter (Castrol GTX 5-30 and Fram Tuff Guard)

Got my wheels finished and mounted some BFG KM2 265/75/16.

 

Staying tuned here. Dig what you've done so far!
