    No rasp above 2k?

The dtlt, urd y, urd 3" exhaust has terrible rasp n/a imho and many others.
what magna system did u get?
Mine sounded like it had a massive fart can on a civic imho.....sounds like u got a better muffler.....size/part # would help others possibly :)

I know with the urd 3" system, many ppl run 2 mufflers or a resonator.

    Do u have sound clip?

Red hot glass pack muffler dumped preaxle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front and modified zuk mod coil spring lift for about 2" in rear paired with 5100 also. C channel front bumper.
Excuse my ignorance, but the stock manifold looks relitively efficient. Has anyone just deleted the cats and compared those gains to these since would be the fairest way. I'm debating on cutting the back two cats out my self is why i ask to see what gains are to be had if any.

anyone have an answer for the aforementioned question about the cats? i did see a write up by chris4x4 i think, on scavenging, and how everything in the stock exhaust is harmonious and such, but it would reduce the back pressure quite a bit to remove some cats and as long as the pipe size and shape is the same should be beneficial in theory.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I hope you are still getting these posts.
I just had a manifold cat go bad on my 2006 Tacoma. I replaced it with the MaganaFlow direct fit unit and my truck still has the inefficient cat code.
I paid $557 for the Magna flow and then I find out I can get the same set up as you for less money (and BOTH) sides. O'Reilly's say they will take the MagnaFlow back so I'm getting the JBA long tubes.
My question: have you noticed any heat problems from the headers and would you pay $90 more for the ceramic coated versions if you had to do it over? (URD says ceramic coatings reduce the radiated heat).
    Thanks,
    Randolph

If you plan on getting the long tubes, get the URD Spec-U. Much better gains and sound from them. I have posted the dyno chart in a couple posts. One being in my N/A dyno link in my Sig.
