Much better. And I can reverse at full lock without rubbing which was the one problem spot before, so there has been an improvement over the initial state as well

I dunno if I'm overthinkin' this but I'm a little confused. Should I order the standard arm or the high clearance ones? I'm only goin' for like a 2" lift with the TRD Pro kit but I'd like to switch to 17" from 16" wheels. Nothin' crazy for tires either. :notsure:

Go for the high caster ones. The standard ones are for stock height trucks.

They both share the same kind of ball joint don't they.

I believe so, yeah. I think all of his Tacoma arms do. The difference is in the arm itself and how it’s built.

Eh, but I got standard travel now with cam-tab gussets. How about a 2+ kit with greasable ball joint and... maybe heims? Delrin bushings work too though.

Adding Caster to the UCA pulls the top tire towards the rear, and when taken for an alignment the LCA adjusters push the bottom of the tire towards the front.
    attachment_97802c6133d60146c55e7765c7396db9d58e9f26.jpg

I currently have SPC ucas set at two different caster settings.. More positive caster I am rubbing the firewall, less positive caster I am rubbing my bumper. I need to cut my bumper and then set them both to the lower caster setting. Lower positive Caster settings does not mean less caster overall, it means that the LCA adjusters have to be used more to get high positve caster.

Finding a good alignment tech that is willing to do their job is the hardest part..

Does JBA have less clearance to the tires than the stock UCA? For example on 255/85/16 tires on the stock wheels, it doesn't rub stock but will rub for JBA?

Depends on your wheel specs. I’ve never had a problem on or offroad And no spacers.
