Ok, thanks. Would a vsc recalibration turn the light off?

Vsc recalibration turned the light off. Just need to fix the steering wheel now!

I had mine installed on Saturday along with rest of the suspension. :bananadance:
I'm still trying to figure out the right ride height... for now I had to take care of the alignment, and those are my numbers:

Yeah even in dry CA mine are starting to rust and I thought I had the new ones. These need to be coated with something else.

Edit: also waiting on 2+ kit and LCAs to be made so I can buy it lol

Hey guys, I have a little back story and a question... Or few...
My installer mentioned that JBA installation instructions call for 4 pumps of grease into the bushing zerks. He was able to pump only 2 each, and said that grease was " backing up", so he 'blamed it' on different grease guns pumping different amounts of grease. Now, apparently I'm too big of a pita customer that he decided not to respond to my texts/questions, which kinda sux for me. I can't find installation instructions on JBA website to confirm it, and also didn't see that on FJ installation video.
I guess I wouldn't even remember about it, except I hear a squeek from a driver side, and of course I fucking worry...
Yes, I'm going to buy a grease gun as soon as I'll be able to. Some quality "lithium based" grease as well.

Now, the questions.... Should I loosen up UCA bolts, grease things up and re-tourqe the bolts - like Total Chaos recommends for their ucas? Don't loosen the bolts and just try to grease up? Or, try to contact JBA about it?

    Thanks for replying.
Going over everything sounds like a good plan, for sure, lol. And as said before, going to get a grease gun hopefully by the weekend.
I don't think he mentioned anything about seeping, and I can't confirm... I don't want to keep on texting with more questions for him not to answer.
I'm hoping he torqued the bolts how you've mentioned. I wasn't there to confirm, and again - would be silly to shoot another question...
But he does seem way knowledgeable and has bunch of experience, so I'm hoping, let me rephrase, I'm fairly confident it was done properly.

FWIW I’ve literally never greased mine until like 2 days ago, and I’ve been running them for months.

Yeah, I'm not putting 285s (or bigger) on mine anytime soon. I want to avoid cutting for now. 255s are quite alright for now, and after new suspension and alignment they don't even wander as much as they used to. Also, new suspension eliminated some noises when I go over speedbumps, and possibly curbs at my local Mall :anonymous:

Sorry if this has already been asked but I'm not looking through the whole tread. Does anyone have a picture of the JBA's and OEM side by side on the ground so I can see if you gain any room behind the oem ball joint. Admittedly I run a lot of lift, more than folks on here are open to, never the less with my current setup the oem ball joint is actually sitting on the coil and limiting down travel as well as killing ride quality. CV angles are acceptable so I'm not worried about that and I need to be at the height I am to clear my tires but the current situation isn't cutting it.

Just going out on a limb, but maybe this is why people don’t run more than 3” lift without going drop bracket or spindle lift.

Edit: never mind, I just hopped in your build thread. Good luck on your future endeavors.

Perfect. Looks like there’s definitely some more room back there.

Yea I do have the drop bracket but even that I’ve stretched out. It’s a 6” kit but it’s up to 9”-9.5” so I’m right back in a bind.
