Always grease and wipe until clean grease comes out. I'd loosen the hardware if you can only get a couple pumps and it stops. Means there's pressure and you're not pushing old grease out .

There are no instructions I've found. Here's a better explanation of why you need to back off the hardware.

1:35. Even better walk through. Note when to tighten and a visual on grease pushing out

Thanks for taking interest in my question.

OK, so I've even busy with some things today, didn't have a chance to watch videos yet... But I've seen one referencing loosening the bolt for initial install a week or so ago, hence the question I had. I didn't contact JBA about it though, but I will most probably Monday.
Just to be clear, I didn't install them myself, and whatever I said, was told to me by the installer. Who does not reply to my texts anymore, I'm guessing due to my award winning personality....

Now I might have a bigger problem, which I didn't notice a few days ago when I added a few pumps each of grease.... Here:
    IMG_20180714_11696.jpg
One of the bushings is torn. Found it today. Not sure if I broke it adding more grease, which BTW didn't come out the way you said it should..
Not happy about the situation, but hey, it is what it is.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've heard nothing but good things about him and his service. Poly bushings are affordable worst case scenario. Btw oem poly grease is always superior to pump grease fyi

So I was looking at the site and it’s specifies rims sizes and tires that will fit. Has anyone stuffed a 285/75/17 in scs ray 10’s with a 2.5 inch lift (6200/5160 w/ Dakar leafs). Or should I be safe and get the ko2’s in 275 instead ? Also has anyone had both regular and HD models ? Is the HD worth the extra $200? Thanks in advance

Alright, to clear up some confusion on my part. I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD OR, planning my purchase (through JBA) of OME lift kit and jba uca when I do the lift. I plan on 255/85/16 tires and would like to keep the stock “Off Road” wheels. Jba recommends “aftermarket wheels” with 4.5 offset or less. The stock “Off Road” wheels appear to to fit within this recommendation parameter. They are 25mm which is 4.5 according to online wheel calculators. By saying “aftermarket” wheels, it sort of implies that the stock wheels will cause rubbing, but my current wheels would appear to fit within the parameters.

I run 255-85R16 on stock wheels and needed spacers.

Well, your backspacing would be 5". Your stock OR wheels are 16x7 +25mm offset, which calculates to 4.98" backspacing. I ran tundra wheels (4.84" BS) and was fine. While you will have more backspacing than me, I don't think 0.14" is going to make or break you.

    Whole lotta stuff
I have 285/75R16 on my 16" Ray10s. Granted that's a better backspaced wheel on a 33", and you're running .30 less back spacing with a 34" tire. But I want to say you'd be okay. I'm running that same shock/leaf setup as well.

So if I went with the 16” TRD Pro wheels (7” x 13mm off set) I would be better off than my current 16” TRD OR wheels (7” x 25mm off set) when it come to clearing the JBA uca? Still running the 255/85/16 tires. I like the Pro wheel better but I don’t mind the current ones either. Or does anyone make a rim that looks like the TRD Pro with a more appropriate back space?

Or you could run a .75" or 1.0" spacer which would give you the appropriate backspace for your set up......however, below is my truck with 255/85R16 Dick Cepek Extreme Country tires on 16" TRD PRO wheels. I have made some very slow speed tight turns and they seem good so far. Only got the wheels/tires on the other day so no other pictures for right now.

Good good....I painted my brackets black so they didn't stand out so much. I originally had the regular (non oversized tire) RokBlokz mudflaps when I wasn't going to modify the truck (LOL right), and then I got the oversize ones in preparation for when I got the skinny 33's. I wish I could run without mudflaps but I can't do that with the climate I live in.

Now i have been debating whether to buy the standards or hd versions, either way they are a lot of money for me. But when i wheel i like to have the security and thought that my suspension can take everything im throwing at it crawling rocks and blasting through mud, that and im a youngen so i like to send it here and there. Im not crawling boulders yet but im just thinking for the future, should i just buy once and cry once with the HD versions? They look plenty beefy and i love the design of the easily replaceable balljoint with extra wheel travel without all the squaky uniball bullshit. Its just yanno should i spend 450, or 700$ For what i am gonna be doing.
