I replaced my rusted ball joints with the new cerakoted ones last weekend and while greasing my arms I noticed one of the bushings is shot.

Is this something I did, if so how do I prevent it in the future? Or is it a failure of the bushing?

About 30% of the outer flange is broken and hanging off.

Just asking if anyone local wants a Brand New set of these that have been repainted and then clear coated in Eastwood Epoxy? I will also include 2 Brand New OEM UCA Bolts with nuts. 425.00 cash or paypal Local Only Massachusetts. These are the Standard High Caster version.

Trying to tell from the pics, but the zerk fittings have not been added, correct? Looks like they’re plugged

Why did you repaint brand new ones? I thought the new ones didn’t have a rust issue.

The ball joint bolt area can rust easily, that’s the main area to be coated

Smart idea! I’ve had to remove the zerk then tighten the through bolt to release some when it looks like I overgreased

I recently installed a 2/1.5 inch lift. I haven't had an alignment yet. I'm wondering if a "mild" lift as mine can benefit from JBA high caster STD UCAs?

Extended travel coilovers? If so, then yes it can benefit. Another benefit is allowing the fitment of larger diameter tires
