Ya the local shop I go to got mine to 4.5 on the caster. The truck tracks so straight now and no more bump steer. I thought the wheel might be a bit hard to turn but it just feels solid now. Very happy with my JBA's.

Power steering makes up for that. You can barely feel a difference between 2.5* and 4.5*

Does caster bring the tire forward? I have JBA UCA with the high caster and after alignment now rubbing. It was completely fine before the alignment
Can barely go into the driveway without rubbing, and pretty scary when driving. I told the person 3-4 caster, 0 camber, 0 toe. They decreased caster to around 2.28 on each side, bringing it down from the 3/4 the left and right were at. I cant believe shops let vehicles out like this after their work. Taking it back to the shop but :annoyed:

Higher caster pushes the wheel forward in the well away from the cab side. Your wheel /tire combo can contribute to rubbing. What are u running?

JBA High caster control arms will actually pull the tire towards the cab. They have caster built in that you can’t adjust. You can adjust the caster at the lower control arm which is what probably needs to be adjusted. I rubbed with 265/75r16 tires initially. The deal though was that my shop ignored me and did not do the alignment correctly. Once they pushed it to 3 degrees it went away. You need to make sure that the shop sets the caster correctly on the lower control arm. I’m not going to say what it is but I believe you get a document about alignment from JBA

This shop couldn't get it right the first time. The guy behind the cashier told me they can't adjust caster with the LCA.
Even though they took it from 4 to 2 the first time I was there. OK, just told them fix it so it doesn't rub. I dont have much faith in this shop going to the next one after for better alignment.

They may have gotten the cams upside down. In that case, no, they wouldn't have been able to make any further adjustment. The pointers on the cams have to be in the northern hemisphere. Meaning, the pointer can point all the way right or left, but never down. Another way to explain is they can point in either the 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock position, but never below those positions. Hope that makes sense.

$480.71 out the door with JBA STD UCA. It's not so bad. I think they do military discounts if you ask.

    Same as any other.

    1. Castor to 3.5* +/- 0.5* (more is better, 3.8* is ideal)

    2. Camber and Toe must be to factory spec as close to Zero as possible.

    3. Torque alignment cam nuts/bolts to 130ft#'s
