What are others here doing w/ regards to greasing their UCAs? I'm at about the 2 months point, and today noticed blobs of grease on the inside of the ball joint on the top of both UCA's. Is this normal? Should I be tightening things up or worried? Sadly I did not get a pic before cleaning up the grease. Not overly large blobs, maybe the size of a AAA or camera battery? However just after my last bit of off-roading (mostly forest service roads, nothing extreme) I don't recall seeing this. I spray-cleaned the whole wheel well so I'm thinking this had to come after that.

You might have over filled the ball joints and the grease is just working it's way out. I just installed mine and over filled the first one and am having grease still working it's out with the motion of the arms as I drive around.

My maintenance plan is simply to grease them about once every 6 months.

    never ending..
The boots are not sealed on the ball joint so you are good and usually the grease on mine comes up on the inside top too. You are good to go

Ordered the wheels today. Once I get them on and can see how much room that gets me I'll post pics.

I'm sure this has been beaten to death somewhere in this thread, but I don't feel like searching...

What alignment specs are you guys with 3" lift and 285s running. If I remember correctly I want 3* caster 0.1*toe and 0.1* camber. Are these numbers ideal?

I'm running 2.7 caster, 0 toe, and 0 camber with these arms.

Will these work for a lift that is less than 2 inches? Or is the high caster make them only work with 2-4 inches

Not sure of my current numbers but I just put a pair of extended travel Icons on and the UCA is hitting the coils. But they are set at about an inch of lift

Just the 265/70/17 rugged terrains. Is the back spacing fine sith the stock alloy wheels?

I got my UCA's and Icon coilovers waiting to go on this coming Friday night. Cant wait!

Any issues with fitment and Install from others? from what Ive been reading they got all the kinks fixed. And they are a great UCA.
Ive had TC Coilovers in the past and hated always cleaning them out and lubing so the Uniball doesn't wear out and squeek

went to get my truck aligned at firestone this past weekend. I asked for 3* caster 0* toe 0* camber. After 6 hours the alignment tech told me he cant get it in those specs. He showed me the screen and he had the toe and camber set but the caster was 2.8* and 3.0* i told him that was fine. Then he fucks with it for another 20 minutes and gives me the truck back with a print out saying 2.4* and 3.6* caster. He told me to come back next weekend and he will try again. He didn't really seem to confident in his abilities and admitted he wasn't there best alignment tech. The truck is pulling pretty hard left now.

When i go back im going to tell them to just get caster as high as they can without messing up everything else.

    Just installed my setup.
JBA UCA's woth Icon extended travel coilovers. Love the ride! Better than the OME kit i was running.
Allignment it goid, got caster up around 3.5 degrees. And no rubbing the cab mount bc i did the chop at the same time.
My only problem is that my tires hit the UCA's at full lock. Wheels are TRD beadlock style with 3/4" Bora spacers. Tires are 295/75/16.
I think i need to go up to a 1" wheel spacer in order to clear my 295's.
It stupid because i was no where my stock UCA's with this tire/wheel setup.
Time for JBA to tweak there design again!!
