It's more than alignment spec. I have stock uppers for now however that'll change. Your ball joints are at a bad angle, ride quality could be better, bump steer corrected, it's not just for the alignment.

Did you actually pay for an alignment? By the looks of it, they didn't adjust anything!

    Thanks for the quick replies.
The shop was talking me out of it.
Didnt pay anything today. They let me know where I was at right now.

I talked to JBA yesterday on the phone. He mentioned having enough clearance at the cab mount I believe at full crank. I got about two finger widths (index finger and middle) on the driver side and a little more on the passenger. With these new UCAs the tires will sit back some? Dont want to start rubbing. Never did with my 285/75/16. Now I got 265/75/16.

FIFY as we lift, we loose caster with the stock UCAs. Less caster, means that coming out of a curve, you have to pull the steering wheel back to center; whereas with positive caster the wheels want to go back to center. A front wheel on a bicycle is a perfect example. Bump steer means that when you hit a bump, the suspension wants to pull in the direction of the bump. Positive caster minimizes that effect. Overall the truck feels like it wants to track straight. at 0 caster you are doing all the work at the steering wheel keeping the truck straight.

Does anyone know if these JBA UCA's give me more clearance between the tire and the UCA? Im running 255/85 with no spacers. I am rubbing on the stock UCA. Thanks for the help!

CRAP! I wonder if the Camburg Ball Joint UCA will do the same.

Just ordered a set. Are there any other recommended parts that should be replaced along with the UCAs, or tips that will help the process go smoother?

Thanks for the update. Been following this thread for a while. I'm on 884s with stock UCAs, and wanna go a little higher but do it right with these UCAs. Whenever I can blow the cash, I will. Doesn't look like it'll be for a while though :( oh well at least I can keep watching this product get better and better!! I definitely appreciate the work being put into this product and whenever I can enter the market, this will get my business!

Yes I have noticed that!! I pretty much have everything I need to know. I'd get the standard versions unpainted. Plenty of places to see how to install them. The video on the product page on his website is also very informative. It's pretty much everything I could want in a UCA haha

I was on the fence with these but when I realized I literally drive by the shop on the way to and from work every day I figured it was a sign. Will be ordering some in the next few weeks I think.

Since Ive had mine, it looks like they offer 2 ball joints now. There JBA ball joint and the MOOG ball joint. The moog is half the cost, but there Ball joint looks aot better in design and material quality.
My Moog ball joint is all rusted after only 5-6 months. and the boot doesn't seal good, grease comes out of it and lets water and debris in. Thinking about switching to there ball joint soon.
