Probably have the only 2nd Gen with an 8274 in the world.
So, is 2-2.5 degrees of caster going to get me where I want to be, where I don't have to wrestle the truck from every seam and "rut" in the road? Running OME 886's with about +2.5-2.75" over stock. I appreciate any info. I emailed Marlin and the caster numbers are straight from him, I've seen them posted somewhere else here, too. My main goal is to get my alignment right since tires are so damned expensive. thx.

Yes. Stock castor range is 1.3* - 2.8*. I have 2.4* castor on my truck and It rides awesome.

Got em in the mail Friday (ordered on Wed). Marlin was nothing but help! Couldn't he happier with my choice of UCAs. Taking em out for a test run at Uwharrie next week. Thanks, again!

    Lookin good STINGN!
I can also vouch for JBA, I've got a set of their arms on my 2010 Liberty and do the job well. The nice thing is being able to get the common Chevy ball joints locally at any time from an auto parts store.

I really like the replaceable ball joint design and use of standard bushings. I think these will be my UCAs when I purchase my lift for sure.

I made the bumper. Was going to buy ARB, but I've been a welder/fabricator since high school (read right after the earth cooled to give you a time frame), so made my own. Prayed on it a lot. God's design.

Here's an update: Granted it's only been two days since install, but so far, I'm way happy. I took the rig to the dealer Sunday following my late night Saturday install and requested certain specs for the align per the info I read on this thread. They were swamped as two of their techs bailed for legit reasons resulting in my leaving the truck for most of the afternoon (for a 40 minute adjustment. Yeah, I'm whining). Asked for 2.2 LF and 2.3 RF caster as I'm running 265's. Tech stuck it on the rack (Hunter thank goodness) but he set it to the sweet spots for stock. After the service advisor realized the mess, he called me. He made a lame excuse but he's been good to me so I let it go. I told him the caster numbers were weak, but agreed to try it. He agreed to re-do the align if I was not happy so I paid and left. Funny....the truck tracks fine despite the really low caster numbers. I drive 70 miles a day at 70 mph (traffic allowing) and with no cross wind the thing tracks perfectly. The wandering when passing or being passed due to air turbulence is in half and it's hands free on straight level ground. I took the sway bar off, so I don't know the total handling picture yet. I like the handling without the bar. Uneven approaches, like blazing left into a parking lot entrance is PLUSH. Anyway, not to get onto the sway bar thing. Bottom line is the JBA's are sweet. Wide range of specs for adjustment, stock bushings, and easily replaceable ball joints. Here's the spec sheet for my align:

I'd take it back. If you think that drives good, 0 camber 0 toe 2.5+ caster will drive better. Glad you like them:thumbsup: I had enough play money stashed away to get my set, and a rack for my topper, but then my wife decided to hit a tree with her car, and her AC compressor went out, and the catalytic converter. FML. No UCAs for me yet. One day, one day.
