@tyfoon11 Have you had an alignment yet with the HD arms?

I've been to two different alignment shops with the HD arms installed and neither shop can adjust the truck to more than 1* positive caster without going into positive camber territory. I did not have this problem with the original JBA UCA.

Alignment specs with JBA HD UCA

    Left.......... Right
    0.7° Camber 0.5°
    0.9° Caster 1.0°
    -.03° Toe 0.03°

I'm going contact Marlin later today.

How much lift do you have? Or what set-up. Curious...

I never measured post suspension "lift". My original '09 suspension was wore out, so replaced with OME nitrochargers, OME 885 coils, Dakar leafs. I'm guessing i'm around 2-2.5".

For reference, here are my alignment numbers with both model JBA UCA's

    JBA UCA's (coil bucket hitters)
    Left.......... Right
    0.8° Camber 0.7°
    2.2° Caster 2.4°
    -.01° Toe 0.02°

    JBA HD UCA's
    Left.......... Right
    0.7° Camber 0.5°
    0.9° Caster 1.0°
    -.03° Toe 0.03°

I haven't had alignment done yet. just got them on week before last, then went on a wheeling/camping trip this weekend. gave them a pretty good workout, everything seems ok so far as I can tell. its hard to see though because I'm pretty caked in mud, so after I wash it today i'll have another look. will have alignment done this week when I get time

Bent UCA + 1,500 mile road trip = uneven wear on tire. With 1* caster, truck drives okay around town, but feels a little too responsive at highway speeds.

After market Arms are required with longer shocks so at full droop the arms don't collide with the coil spring. From what I see there you're using the stock Tacoma Bilstein setup which has the same travel as stock and no coil collision issues with the stock UCA. These arms are more suited for the longer Fox, King shocks so you're not realy gaining anything..just my observation..I could be wrong about your Bilsteins as I'm assuming they are stock Toyota shocks.

Yes, only if you have the longer shock with more travel. The stock shocks and bushings will work fine within the stock range of movement..longer shocks like kings or fox will tear the bushings. I just ordered a set of JBA arms so I will give full report here on install and travel results.

Now that's customer service! That's part of the problem with new products- got to work out all the kinks. Glad he's a stand up guy and taking care of his customers. Sub'd for future purchase...

Dropped my truck off for an alignment last night. Wrote him a note telling him what I wanted my numbers at and if I could get a print out. Hopefully he does what I asked. I'll post up my numbers if I get them.

You ever hear back from Marlin on this? Thanks.

    So before it was
    Left. Right
    Caster. .57*. 1.18*
    Camber. .90*. .76*
    Toe. .31*. .8*
    After: Left. Right
    Caster. .92. 1.08
    Camber. .74. .64
    Toe. .03. .01

My pap took it to get aligned. And he said the guy said the caster adjusters were locked he was afraid they were gonna break. But he got the rest as close as he could. He said they would be fine. Well........ I guess we shall see. Ps I sprayed the alignment bolts/cams for 2 1/2 weeks with penetrating oil. Damit just wish it was closer to what I told him 0/0/2.5 Wow that looks so much better on my phone but when it posts the spaces are all fuked up.

Dang I hate to hear that. I was going to buy a set. Then I saw the posts about the clearance issue. Now this. It sounds to me like JBA needs to do some testing before releasing a product. UCAs contacting the coil bucket and failing to provide caster(the entire reason for having them) are some pretty major problems that would have easily been noticed had they been tested properly. I hope for the sake of you have that have purchased these arms that JBA gets their stuff together. As for me, Camburg it will be.

Looks like you need new bushings and this kit.

I've looked at the moog kit but have heard that it's not always the right one. And somebody. I think homertaco? Had the adjuster(washer) break loose.
