I just received my JBA ucas, and on the ball joint stud, one side has one washer while the other side has two washers. Reading the directions and watching the JBA installation video, I think only one washer is needed, between the uca and the steering knuckle. Anyone know for sure though?

Why not just give JBA a quick call to confirm?

Can't imagine why you'd need two. I'm sure it was just a spare in case you lose one.

One per side. Looks like you got an extra

Just received my JBA uca and they both were shipped with 2 washers each. So I watched the install video and it showed installing 1 washer then I talked to Marlin he sent me this link and it shows that you should be installing 2 washers on each side because the boot on the ball joint is not pushing into place.

Well damn, hopefully that means they check all the boots and only assign a 2nd washer as needed. Mine only came with 2 in total

I think they said somewhere on the website that as of May 2018 the ball joints have a new coating may that has something to do with it. I would call and check into it

So i installed my JBA UCAs yesterday. Mine came with two washers per side but the instructions in the box said to use one so that's what I did. Just noticed that there's some space between the UCA and the boot so I should've used the second washer buuuuut that washer is long gone now. I'm getting an alignment tomorrow and I can just have the shop throw on a second one. Anyone know what the size is for those washers so I can get one from the hardware store?

Totally worth a shot, but I kind of doubt a shop will have that washer just kicking around. It doesnt seem like a common size

I'm looking at JBA UCA's and just picked up some fox 2.5 adjustable coilovers, and have fox 2.0 resi's in the rear.

I'm looking to run level with 3 inches of lift. Any recommendations on leaf springs to accomplish this?

I'll only be carrying a RTT in the bed, and hauling my dual sport out to the desert?

    Thanks
