So my alignment is off on my tacoma and I need new uca's. I'm looking at JBA but I want to know what you guys think of it first. How adjustable are they on caster

JBAs aren’t adjustable in caster. They have a preset caster position for ~3” lift and then you align the truck conventionally with the LCA.

Oh I didn't know that. Do you know how much they change caster? Looks like I need 3.5 to 4 degrees of caster. If the jba's don't provide enough any other brands you would recommend?

You’d probably get very close. But also remember that lifted trucks don’t always respond best or need to be aligned to all factory specs, since the wheels move differently than they did when stock.

They definitely will get you close. The SPC design is more directly caster adjustable, but not necessarily “better” for getting you toward positive caster if you’re at the 3” lift mark. It’s weird that your caster didn’t change at all after an alignment, thiugh

I've seen alot of people having problems with spc too. If I'm spending 500 on uca's I want them to do what there supposed to do and be within spec. Any other brands I can look at? I emailed jba and sent them my alignment to see what they say but I wanted to hear from some other people too lol

Its all about the alignment tech. After installing the OME kit on my truck and taking it in for an alignment, that POS tech at Toyota left me in negative caster claiming there was nothing he could do about it. Ended up taking it in to a custom alignment shop and they put me back into positive caster. Said the Toyota tech was just being lazy and did a "toe and go" (which is exactly what it looks like the OP had). I still ended up ordering SPCs but yeah, a good alignment is only as good as the tech doing it.

Nothing wrong with SPCs. There was negative opinion of them before they changed their balljoints. Since then, no issues I've read about. I run them and they're set at the default position (+2 degrees of additional caster). SPCs by design will give you +1 degree of caster built in. Adjustment can be from 0 to +4 degrees of caster. No issues. 255/85/16s clear and it wasn't necessary for the BFH on the pinch weld.

Right now, you're in negative caster. That's not good.
I once had it described to me as -
"Ever seen a shopping cart with its front wheel backward shaking back and forth? Thats about what -1.0 caster gets you..." @BudMan

My most recent alignment report -

Give the product a look... Check the forum. You'll find many 1st gen owners running them who have no complaints.

@Wheeler's Off-Road Inc has them for $619. Oh and for a laugh, here is what it looked like when toyota did the alignment -

I have 285/75/16’s and only rubbed on the lower fender flare bolt which was a east fix.

I did a few weeks of research and found repeated cases of JBA joints cracking prematurely. Anyone else have this issue? I ended up getting a set of Camburg with their new X-Joint... they as well as others are moving away from the MOGG joint because of this issue. I’m sure people will say otherwise, but pictures of cracked and split boots after 5k miles don’t lie. This is definitely something to consider.

Not sure... last guy I spoke with on here said this happened to him within the past year. Not bashing JBA in anyway, just not sure about the MOGG joints. Granted, super cheap and easy to get ahold of... and just as easy to replace... just not sure if the pros outweigh the cons?
