I did email them before I bought them and they told me they used OEM toyota boots. I don't know when they switched to that but I'll tell u if something happens.

Well, this is not what I wanted to find when researching JBA UCAs!

I like three things about these UCAs in particular:
    1) the use of a ball joint over a uni-ball
    2) 90 degrees range of motion
    3) the use of 1990s Chevy 1500/2500 style ball joints for ease of replacements in a jam

Has anyone looked into using Moog K6292/AC Delco 45D0062 boots? Might not work perfect with 90 degrees range of motion, but will probably work better then cracked and broken boots.

    Or, what about SPC boots?

Dang this sucks for y'all. I've had mine on a few years now and the boots have held up fine. That's a bit shady they're still sending out UCAs with boots with known manufacturing defects.

I suspect they’re close to shipping the new pleated poly boots. In the meantime, their legacy short poly boots will work with two washers per side to help make up for the shorter boot length.

Well shit. I just ordered about a month ago they had nothing in stock for the 4runners said they were waiting on shipments of ball joints. I wonder if I should just cancel now.
