Shouldn't. You should be at the correct level by removing the spindle spacer. A little droop is normal on the UCA at ride height.

 

I finally found a shop near me that does nothing but custom lifts. They are very reputable. So I'm gonna have them look at it with me, and help with the king install.

 

We're here to help- that's the good thing about the forum. Hack jobs like this give reputable shops a bad name. I understand you bought the truck as is, but it's a good thing you came here for more info to correct a possible danger to you or other people. What kind of grease do you guys recommend for these uppers?
