Some pretty cool dudes over there. I've wheeled with them on five or so Reno trails and they've got some tough shit out there. All canyon runs that change constantly after flash fluds

Finding tools in the dark sucks. Installed adhesive LED strip lighting in the toolbox. Damn thing is way brighter than I anticipated.

Seriously it's was the best bang for the buck. Each LED is a SMD 5050 that puts out ~15-19 lumens. You can cut it to almost any length you want. A 5 meter waterproof roll of the LED strips is only $20 on eGay. My original plan was to do two strips, but that proved unnecessary. I'm gonna run a couple strips under the hood as well.

    eBay link to LED strip:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-STRIP-SUPER-BRIGHT-SMD5050-FLEXIBLE-LED-ROLL-16FT-12v-Indoor-Outdoor-use-6k-/230899305935?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D5440351540993522394%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D230899305935%26

The wiring is still a work in progress. I'm actually in the middle of a LOT of wiring at the moment. But basically I have an auxiliary fuse box under the hood and a power wire run to the bed and snaked into the toolbox. I used an alarm hood pin for the negative trigger. When the toolbox opens, the lights automatically come on.

Haha hopefully easy! I'm gonna order some and use them in my toolbox, engine bay, and under the dash. Maybe bed lights too...

Well they come with two wires soldered to the end of the strip. So it's really easy for the first strip. But anywhere you cut the strips you'll need to solder/heatshrink wires to connect.
