Tell that to Jerry who had his frame plated and it still bent. Not like he was hitting whoops before.

My point was either more mass or acceleration will put down the same amount of force.

ok, im just kinda thinkin the shackles kinda act like leverage on the bottom of the frame/shackle hangers to bend it... i have frame plates welded on the bend but nothing to help the rear spring mount. i was thinkin of just a simple rectangle piece of 3/8 welded to the inside of frame right where the spring hanger is... i'm sure itd help some

That's what I plan to do with mine. Plate it and just box areas that could use it like where my shock towers are and hangers and such.

I stitched welded mine for the same reason and went back and filled in the stitches a few hours later.

What is your review on the Hankooks? Are they wearing well and are you happy with them in different conditions?

They are a soft compound so wear is not the greatest and also a bit on the heavy side. But traction is fantastic in all conditions I've put it thru. I'll probably get them again.

Thanks for the review. I might be picking up a set of practially brand new (sub 1k miles) 33's for $600 on Monday. I've always liked the looks and they've gotten great reviews. Figured I'd ask you since you beat the shit out of your tires and wheel/drive in all conditions.

What load range? I have 18 months on mine now and show no signs of wear, they literally have the same tread depth as new ones lol

Have you taken them in snow?
