Yeah...explaining to LEO that my driver's license was 2" below a Glock on a rural road seemingly uninhabited ended up quite the interesting predicament.

Seems pretty reasonable. The whole license thing seems to have worked out nicely too. Didn't see you on the news and you're still posting :D

I noticed. haha No big though, I was only going to take it as a last resort to get home.

I couldn't find any in town so I went to true value and found a steel shim that was almost the exact same I.D. and O.D. Put it in a vice and ground it down to length, drilled it out with a 1/2" drill bit and then beat it into the bearing... Pretty sure it is never coming back out, but that bearing is hammered too. Has a lot of play in it now. I think I will run it until the shock decides to start walking back and forth on that shim (since there is no lip on the shim to prevent that) and then I'll just replace the whole bearing or try to convert it to a bushing. I really don't need a spherical bearing on IFS.

Nice list! My damage report is only front shocks, but they were on their way out anyways....

I am really surprized the glock didnt cause more problems, then again utah is a pro-gun state, so maybe that helped

All in all not a bad stop. I've had far worse.

Glad you got it figured out. You inspired me to carry my spare misalignments in the truck box from here on out

It happened in Nevada (which is also very pro-gun). Local drivers license and registration I'm sure helped ease the situation. I'm sure both hands on the steering wheel while explaining everything didn't hurt me either.
