    You rang?:p

I'd like to go hit up the desert with you one day, mostly to learn from you and see how your rig does, so I know what to work towards with my rig.

Try following Jason in the desert in moab.... even with ur nice rear setup, all you will see is flashing amber leds throuhg the dust. then ur head will hit the the headliner cuz u just womped it way too fast over something you couldnt see.

    ask me how i know:D

How fast were you going when you hit the headliner? haha I've ran some milder roads at 70+, mostly having to slow down for the corners. I hit a lot of the whoops around here at 45-50, but that's just because the rig won't go any faster. Suspension handles it fine, just not enough motor even with the 4.88's...

I don't doubt that Jason would be all up my ass though! haha But I might give him just a little bit of a run for his money!

we were doin 40 id say on dome plateau. he was pulling away quickly at 60+.... theres no way your ori's can handle the whoops and turns like his front lt though. It truely is impressive. i learned my lesson very quickly.

that being said, i was having a blast goin 40 in mine. for whatever reason flying down a 2track trail is a freakin kick in the pants

A small handful of select mods.

No need to ask. You are a tall mutha and with your scooby seats you are 1/2" from the headliner to start with. :D

BTW I wish i got a pic of you sticking yourself out of the tube doors. It was hilarious. You came out of the truck a good 4'... looked forward and then backward and then ducked back in. It was like an ostrich pulling it's head out of the sand for just a moment.:rofl:

Yeah my lack of LT up front hurts me a bit and lack of boost... I wouldn't count the ORI's out just yet though. They are purpose built for desert racing. The problem is that they weren't built for IFS rigs. Mine handle the whoops just as good as my rear seems to at the moment. They don't like hucking though...

Hopefully I can make it next year and have my valving all figured out by then cuz it sucks right now...

You need to come spend a day with me at the dunes. My valving isn't quitebas bad as I allude. It's just not where I would like it to be. I like to huck and it sucks for that...

Valving/tuning for hucking will never be the same as for whoops/wash. IMO it's stupid to valve for hucking.

Dunes and desert are two very different beasts. Dunes are easy. Sand makes everything easier and softer. If you're judging you and your truck's ability to handle whoops by how it does in the sand, you're in for a painful experience.

I would shoot down 395. Much faster.
    And <3

Oh yeah...obligatory web wheeler picture for all the keyboard commandos to talk about:

Yep. You got me. May as well put it all on the table now. All that discoloration and "scratches" is actually a very expensive paint job. Custom pinstriping.
