    Thanks. Wasn't bad, just the lip was hard to compensate for. Trying to throttle through it at the end and it still wants to nose plant.

    I hear ya on that one.
    Night time i kept to what I knew. Day time I kept the skinny pedal to a minimum until I'd preran a section...and then it was balls to the wall :anonymous:. I only had one sphincter seat sucking moment. And that's because I had no business going as fast as I was going.

    I personally had a great time. Not much into driving to one spot and sitting there for hours on end to drink beer and watch other people. If I'm gonna drive 12 hours somewhere...I'm gonna get my money's worth out of the terrain. Went through a full gas tank and 8 extra gallons.

    Well, I meant that I've only ever owned automatics, but having driven manuals and my bike being manual, I really like the control you have with a manual...and a supercharged manual would just be so much funner I think.

    But, automatics are easier to drive and supposedly stronger than the manuals in the tacomas these days.

    Ugh. Yea I go back and forth, but I have to keep reminding myself that once it's all LT'd out, I doubt I'll be commuting daily In it, AND i don't really sit in traffic because of the hours my shift work is. I think it's all going to come down to availability. if I can find one within 100 miles and the dealership isn't completely filled with douche bags, then I'll get it. If I go to multiple dealers and can't find one or they won't work with me (Or tell me CA state tax is 11.75%, like the dealer in Fairfield did) then I walk away and just get an auto.

    I think so.
    I've given in. But I wish that manual transmissions were more available-when I bought mine, there were no 4x4 DCSBs with manual trans available. You'd mostly see them on prerunners.

    Drive it in the dirt, not the street. Auto transmission gear hunting pisses me off. Even shifting the auto manually sucks. Never shifts when I want it to.
