Damn I swear I have seen that in a forum somewhere, that truck is even somewhat familiar now. Its that mounting/reinforcement plate around the bump that looks familiar. Maybe I am wrong lol

Throttle body is stock. The TB design varies from year to year depending on options. The later model's came with a DBW TB instead of vacuum.

The kit came with the Denso IK24's. Those are actually 3 steps cooler of a plug instead of 2 steps. General rule of thumb when it comes to forced induciton is for every 100 hp you add, step to 1 range cooler plug. To get the plugs to run hotter the gap can be increased. I ran the IK24's for a little while with the gap at the recomended .043". I ditched the IK24's for the IK22's with no modification to the gap.

Did you at least bring a tissue?

Yep that's a standard vacuum throttle body. The top two bungs with the caps on it were used for EGR vacuum modulator back when the 5vz had EGR.

    Thanks.
Pretty damn good considering the giant gulp of seawater it took. The nose pulley started leaking a tiny bit of oil after the little hydrolock ordeal. The fill hole is on the front of the s/c though so it makes it real easy to squirt new oil in. I check it every now and then. Automatic oil changer :anonymous:

The s/c has its own oil system. You can make your own decision about how frequent to replace the oil. I suggest you start here: http://www.gadgetonline.com/SuperNose.htm

Look in the below picture. You'll see an orange dot to the right of the s/c nose pulley. That's the oil plug. Remove that and you can squirt in new oil. The supercharger itself is just a eaton supercharger at heart. You can use standard GM supercharger oil which is available at Summit Racing or most aftermarket stores.
