    VVVVVV

6" wider than the factory first gen taco.

I called 411 and tried to find the phone number for R&B so they could fabricate me one, but they couldn't find a listing. I spelled it out over and over but nothing. :notsure:

I did the math over and over and over and over again and tried to justify it. And it just didn't make sense. For me to do a full float, the cheapest route I could go was with modified F350 unit bearings. Even after all was said and done it was going to be almost 4 grand for a complete axle. $1500 of which was just the third member.

I came across this tundra axle by accident. It was listed on Sacramento CL. Complete, end to end out of a wrecked 2001 with 120k miles on it. I lowballed the piss out of the guy for shits and giggles, and he agreed. So I hauled ass down there after worked and picked it up. Called DSM on the way down and ordered bumps to go outside the frame. Bozen raced on his Tundra axle for 5 years and that fucker was linked. Tyler (TC Yota) is also racing on one. I'm sure it will serve my purposes just fine.

You're just pissed off I'm actually going through with a new axle.

    Nope.
I'll never do another selectable locker in the rear axle again. I hated the TRD e-locker. I mean it worked....but it was more temperamental than a menstruating Asian woman. The ARB's have the same stupid problems too. Too many moving parts, too many things that can (and do) go wrong. I'm putting in either a detroit, grizzley or a spool. Most likely a detroit.

It's happening. Already started stripping the bitch down.

Really? well i mean i know the TRD is picky..and you have to lock it before hand basically..but i have never heard that really about the ARBs..

I guess to me selectable is the best way to go..for me..but maybe not with your rig since you tow it on the long hauls..

    gonna be sexy tho

    What about glass bedsides...

I'm sticking with 4.56 (which is what I have up front). IMO its the perfect ratio for my purposes.
